This should be a walk in the park for everyone. There should be no struggle. I get so frustrated every time I read about another family going through this.

We have been so lucky to have had such an opposite experience. I just had to argue the opposite case for Emmi at her ARD yesterday. They were trying to give her too much aid! I kept having to say, "No look at her report card. Look at her standardized tests. She does not need that. THIS is what she needs." Everyone should be in MY shoes. We should all be turning down services, NOT fighting for the basic needs.

I hope for all of you out there fighting your schools, that there is a quick resolution.Triciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10715187918892679058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37382396.post-11255729748472420402009-10-20T06:59:49.145-04:002009-10-20T06:59:49.145-04:00I have not talked about our recent struggles with ...I have not talked about our recent struggles with our IEP because I KNOW my school district found my blog and reads it. IT's very frustrating I can't write about it and let others give me their opinion. We are having a meeting on 10/28 and I can't wait til it's over so I can blog about it. Glad you got what you needed for Drew. I wish the schools had a better understanding of hearing loss.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14265953831090933158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37382396.post-41542924164451754142009-10-16T10:49:28.352-04:002009-10-16T10:49:28.352-04:00THANK YOU so much for this. I'm hoping the test results from John Tracy will help, since that is essentially an independent educational evaluation. The early intervention system is so much easier than the school district system!leahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05004783118268323560noreply@blogger.com
